In October/November 2019 I went on my biggest adventure so far – six weeks volunteering at the Cape Winelands Biosphere Reserve in South Africa. After I finished school in Germany I wanted to see something completely different and get out of my comfort zone – preferably while helping in a social or ecological project.

Read MoreThe reason I enjoyed South Africa so much is due to its wide variety of experiences I had. First of all, I was able to witness this beautiful country in person. South Africa is a stunning country with an extreme variety of what you can see. From mountains to the sea and everything in between, South Africa seems to have it all.
